Cathy and I serve with a mission organization called "Praying Pelican Missions." We are serving primarily in the country of Jamaica but will also be involved in ministries in the United States as well as other countries. Financial Partnership...
When we first started serving on the mission field our biggest fear was asking others to support us financially. In our minds, we felt like we were being a burden to others by asking for their help. We have come to learn that asking others to partner with us in ministry should not be a burden but rather a blessing. It should be a win/win.
The truth is, we do need money to continue being missionaries. But, we are not looking to be a burden but rather we are seeking partners that will join us in the blessings of reaching the lost, helping the hurting and feeding the hungry by partnering with us financially. We are asking you to be part of a blessing not a burden.
There are many ways you can be part of this blessing and be a partner with us. First, know the size or amount of your partnership isn't what is important, in fact, your crown is in heaven, we don't have any to give away. Secondly, every partnership donation is vital, be it large or small, it all goes to help change lives.
Just so you know, we have a budget and are held accountable by Praying Pelican Missions. Our monthly budget need to be fully funded is $2000 a month. We are at 70% of our monthly goal.
Can you help us become fully funded by becoming a monthly financial partner. Being fully funded allows us to take our focus off of fundraising and allows us to focus on ministry.
We have made it safe, simple and fast for you to join our financial partnership team. We offer several ways for you to begin.
1. You can donate by check, See how to give by check through Praying Pelican Missions at the bottom of this page.
2. You can also go through Praying Pelican Missions via PayPal or your credit card. It's safe and secure. See how to do this on the right-side of this page under the PayPal icon.
Options 1 and 2 are tax deductible! Donations sent through Praying Pelican Missions are disbursed via payroll minus processing fees charged by PayPal or bank of 4.5 %

To make a "one time "donation click the left donate icon and fill in the information

To make a "monthly" donation click the amount line above the subscribe icon on right. Choose your monthly donation amount you wish to partner with. Then click "subscribe and fill in information. Be sure you check the box that says "reoccuring"

Click submit and its on it way. You will be sent a receipt for your transaction.

Please let us know via phone or email that you have joined our partnership team so we can varify with Praying Pelican Missions of your donation. Some have thought they completed the transaction but somehow it didn't go through correctly. We will varify all goes through without error and will confirm with you as well.

Write a check to Praying Pelican Missions (do NOT put our name anywhere on the check). Include a note with check stating: "Support for Brent & Cathy Kirk" and your e-mail address to receive a receipt via e-mail or your mailing address to receive a receipt by mail.

Once the check is received by Praying Pelican Missions, it will be processed within 7 business days. A receipt will be sent to you after the check has been processed. Donations/Support given via check have a 4.5% processing fee, so a full 95.5% of your donation goes directly to Brent & Cathy Kirk.
