MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM BRENT & CATHY

Well Christmas is almost here! Just a week away! Many of us will spend time with family and friends and will enjoy some great time around the dinner table, the Chrismas tree and simply sharing old memories and making new ones. What a great time to celebrate as familes the birth of Christ!

Cathy and I will celebrate Christmas this year in Jamaica as we lead a mission team. We are looking forward to celebrating Christmas in Jamaica and by serving others during this joyous season. What a blessing to be abe to serve in the capacity we do!

Our winter and spring is jammed packed with teams coming into Jamaica to serve. In fact, Cathy and I will be home only about 2 1/2 weeks from Christmas through April. We will spend time serving in the public school sysytems, local communities, children's homes, orphanages, and senior citizen homes and so much more. We have construction projects arranged that include the building of new homes for several who have lost thier homes to fire or weather related issues. We will also build eductaional parks for children, additions to local schools as well as hold medical clinics without charge to hundredes in the Kingson community. I can't wait to see how God will move through the teams and ministries.

As you think about Christmas this year and count the blessings God has provided you this year and season, please keep Cathy and I in your thoughts and prayers. Our biggest blessing is the ability to serve in Jamaica full time and see firsthand the lives that are impacted and changed.

Maybe this Christmas, you can give a gift that counts! In that, I mean a gift that will outlast a toy, an IPad, or some other gift that will eventually break, wear out or simply be put away and forgotten. I am speaking about a gift that has eternal impact.

Cathy and I are only able to serve in the capacity in which we do by the blessings of others such as yourself. We must fundraise in order to serve on the mission field. Your financial gift is a gift that is long lasting and again has eternal impacts on so many lives. Would you consider being a blessing to us and others by partnering with us financially.

So here is the scoop! We are in need of financial supporters! This is vital to our ministry! A financial commitment from you as little as $20.00 a month ( that's only .66 cents a day) can go a long way! We also need others who may be able to be even a bigger financial partner. You decide! We have a personal support goal of $ 1800.00 a month. We are currently only at $366.00 committed monthly support. We have a long way to go! To be honest, we are barley hanging on, but God is good! We need to hit our monthly financial need goal soon to continue serving in this capacity. Just FYI, those who support us at a $100 a month level will be able to join us on a mission trip for only the cost f airfare. The normal registration fee of up to $825 is waived.
